The World of Monster Hunter Stories

In a world where large monsters roam and people make a living by hunting them, there is a remote village of people who follow a different set of customs. They are known as the Monster Riders, a group that forms bonds with monsters instead of hunting them.

Monsters that develop relationships with Riders, called "Monsties," possess incredible powers. Join the adventure and embark on a thrilling journey!

Game Features

• Recruit numerous Monsties: The bonds you form with these creatures are vital for your adventure. Explore vast environments and dungeons to discover monster dens and collect eggs to hatch new Monsties.
• Fight alongside your Monsties in Network Battles: Join forces with the Monsties you've raised to engage in battles against other Riders. Build a team of your favorite creatures and challenge other players.
• New features for the smartphone version: Experience stunning high-resolution graphics, an improved user interface, and a convenient auto-save feature.

Story

The story begins in a forest near the Riders' village, where three young friends - the hero, Lilia, and Cheval - stumble upon a shining egg. Playfully imitating the Rite of Kinship, they are astonished when the ritual actually succeeds!

The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, a flying wyvern also known as "the King of the Skies." The trio lovingly names him "Ratha" and takes him back to their village.

A year goes by...

The Village Chief presents the hero with a Kinship Stone, officially making them a Rider. Cheval and Lilia leave the village, each following their own path. Now separated from their childhood friends, the hero teams up with the cheerful Navirou and embarks on a new adventure into the world of hunters.

Notes on Multiplayer

• Multiplayer (Network Battles, etc.) is only accessible after reaching a certain point in the game.
• Network Battles can only be played against other players using this version of the iOS app, not players of the paid version.
• Network Battles are not available against players using the Japanese version of this app.
• Ensure a stable internet connection for the best online experience.
• To use multiplayer features, you must sign in to Game Center.

Additional Notes

• To use this app, you must agree to the "Monster Hunter Stories End User License Agreement" (link below) when launching the app for the first time: https://game.capcom.com/manual/MHST_mobile/global/en/rule.php.
• This app features the same story as the handheld console version.
• Certain features from the handheld console version, such as collaboration content, amiibo features, local Network Battles, and StreetPass, are not available in this version.
• Deleting this app will also delete any saved data.
• We recommend connecting to a Wi-Fi network before downloading.
• Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version will not work in this version of the app.
